The Gap I Fill
Most AI agents return “success” while writing nothing. A session that reports complete with no row in the system of record is just as expensive as a breach — and the alarm never fires.
I built a batch-record discipline for AI agents, inspired by pharma-style batch records and electronic audit trails. Every serious skill should declare, in machine-checkable form, what database state must be true for the work to count. The runtime should query the system of record before any success log is honored.
We call the public envelope BatchRecord. The internal verification primitives run inside a regulated cannabis operator today. The public runtime is being packaged for regulated AI workflows tomorrow.
